Episode 2 | The Creators Seed podcast
Why You’re Not Able to Increase Sales Yet
How to attract customers and increase sales without feeling salesy is a skill every entrepreneur needs. Because let’s face it—nobody wants to sound like a pushy salesperson. But if you're not marketing your offer, you're missing out on opportunities to grow and make money. The good news is, you can attract clients in a way that feels aligned, genuine, and effective.
And one of the ways to achieve this is with content marketing. Why? Because content builds connection—and connection drives conversions. If you’ve been posting online but not seeing results, or you’re unsure how to turn views into revenue, this episode will change the game for you.
Whether you’re an introvert who dreads self-promotion or someone who’s tired of doing everything and still not seeing results, you’ll walk away with simple strategies that work. Because business success comes from connection, not just conversion. Creating content isn’t just about sharing pretty graphics or motivational quotes. It’s about guiding your audience through a journey that leads them to trust you, value your expertise, and ultimately buy from you.
I’ll cover how to use storytelling, education, and emotional triggers to build a strong online presence. You’ll learn the difference between “likes” and leads, and how to stop wasting time on content that doesn’t move your business forward. Because when you understand how to use content intentionally, you’ll start to see a real return on your effort.
One of the fastest ways to boost sales is by getting clear on the transformation your product or service provides. People don’t buy products—they buy solutions. Inside this episode, I’ll walk through how to position your offer as the answer to your audience’s problems so you naturally attract the right customers.
Even if you’re just starting out and don’t have a big audience yet, the strategies in this episode will help you build momentum and start making sales. These are strategies that work for small businesses, personal brands, coaches, and creators alike. Remember: You don’t need everyone—you just need the right people.
So if you’re ready to feel more confident selling and finally get new customers without the awkward sales pitch, tune in. This episode is filled with practical insights to help you grow, connect, and convert—with ease.

Welcome everyone. Grace and peace to you all. As you have tuned in to The Creator Seed podcast, this is the space for all creators to gain insight and take action on their own life to see lasting success and fulfillment. And on the second episode of the Creator's Podcast, I will be discussing one of the reasons why many business owners and entrepreneurs can't get clients and customers. And just to give a bit of a background story, I am a marketing student at university, and I'm also a business owner.
So I do have a little bit of knowledge on the business industry as well as having my own experience and, also observing other business owners that is stopping them from getting clients and customers or even gaining more clients and customers. And whether you're whether you're listening to this and you are a business owner or you want to start a business but you want to gain knowledge and understanding before you begin your business, This, this podcast will be able to help you to know the necessary things that you need to do in order to get the best out of your business, not only for yourself but most importantly for your customers or the clients that you will be working with. So you may be wondering what is one of the reasons that is stopping many business owners and entrepreneurs from getting clients and customers and making lots of money. Well, funny enough, focusing on getting lots of money from other people is one of the reasons why many business owners and entrepreneurs do not get enough clients or customers. And when a business or a business owner only promotes their products or tells people to buy their offers, a lot of people, they won't they won't unless if they've seen your product before and they know your business already.
But in this case where, let's say, you're marketing to a new customer, when you only promote your products or tell people to buy your offers, they probably won't think about it. And a lot of the times, many people can tell if you just want money from them, and this will hurt your brand reputation. But if you would like to increase your clientele and increase the number of customers and clients that you get. You may not have heard this before, but one of the ways that you can get more clients and customers if is if you treat your customers or clients like team members. Meaning that, okay.
Let's say like this. Imagine you're building your dream business like forming a team. So whenever a stranger or a follower, let's say on social media becomes your customer or your client, you are now recruiting a new team member, a new team a team member. And so when you begin to build trust, respect, communication, and commitment between you and your team members, this will help for your business to grow. And as your business grows, you can be able to make improvements that will help to establish the team.
And those improvements can be, those improvements can be like improving your customer service, being able to help your your current class your current customers and clients whenever they need it, and being able to improve the different areas of your business, whether it be to improve your resources, whether you're selling digital products, physical products, whether you're selling a service like one on one coaching, whether you're doing group sessions, whether you're doing a master class, a live workshop, doing those necessary adjustments to make sure that not only is your business not only does your business function well, but it also provides the necessary value and the necessary assistance that it can provide to your current customers and clients. And so the more you work with your team members and benefit them, the more they will benefit you. Meaning that the more you provide assistance to others, the more your business, whether that be your products or your service, the more your business is helping other people, the more people will be helping you in terms of paying you because one of the main reasons why business owners have a business is because they want to solve other people's problems.
So when you have a business and you are able to solve people's problems, whether that is through a product or providing a service, when you help other people, they are also helping you because, of course, I'm not going to act like business owners or entrepreneurs don't want to make money. That's one of the main fundamentals. One of the one of the main reasons why many business owners want to start a business. But rather than focusing on getting the money first, focus on serving people first. Focus on adding value to other people's lives.
Focus on providing assistance, providing a transformation to people, and demonstrating to them that you are the right person or your business is the right business that will be able to give people what it is that they desire. And the better you are at improving your team, the more the team members, aka your clients and customers, you will get. So if you want to improve the level that your business is operating in, whether you've already started a business or you're about to start a business and you just want to gain information and gain insight before you you before you begin that entrepreneurial journey, making sure that you don't focus so much on the money because a lot of people, when they start a business, especially when they start to see money coming in, they can focus on the business. Sorry. They can focus on the money and forget about the main objective of why they started their business.
And I whether you're listening if you're listening to this, I I wouldn't know the the the reason why you wanted to start your business. But as a as a general as a general rule, as a general advice for every single business owner, the main objective for you having a business is to add value to others and provide provide assistance, provide a benefit, provide, a transformation to your clients or to your customers and making sure that you build a good reputation. Because if you want to have a business that is long term, you one of the things you also have to think about is having a good reputation because even in the bible in the bible in the book of Proverbs 22 verse one, the bible says, choose a good reputation over great riches. Being held in high esteem is better than silver and gold. So as a business owner, as an entrepreneur, as a creator, whether you're on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, whatever even YouTube, whatever, social media platform you're on and you are selling a product or a server to people or to specific audience, you want to make sure that you are adding value to those people and not focusing just on getting the money.
Yes. The money will come, but the money will come when people will see that what you are doing is for their benefit. Because like I mentioned before, if you are if you are a business owner, a creator, or an entrepreneur that is so focused on getting money from people, a lot of people will easily be able to see that you're just wanting to get money from them. But if you just focus on one particular problem that a group of people have, one shared problem that a group of people have, Maybe you're a business owner and you create content or you share content that helps other business owners to scale their business. Maybe you create content for, let's say, a specific market.
Let's say you create let's say, what example can I give? Okay. Let's say you're a web designer and as you are growing in your journey of being a web designer you also share what you learned and what you know with other web designers who are beginners. So you provide resources for them. So you could let's say you create a course where you teach other web designers who are beginners how to start their web designing journey.
You can also create a service where you could do coaching. We could do, like, an online class, an online workshop where you go through the different softwares that graphic designers or web designers can use, and you create a a a a workshop or a course that teaches beginner web designers how to use certain softwares or how to do certain things. So these are just examples of the kind of value that you can provide for people and the kind of problem that you are solving for them because we we we are created on this earth to serve one another. Well, one of the reasons why we are put on this earth is to serve one another. So when you create a business, don't focus on that business for the purpose of serving yourself.
Don't focus on having a business that is created for other people to serve you by paying you money, but focus on that business on serving other people, providing value to them, making sure that you are contributing to their life in one way or another. When people see that you are focused on serving them, when people see that the you are willing and you've taken the time to make sure that you are helping them in one way or another. When they when they see that you have obsessed over their problem and you have found a solution, whether you have found that solution through your own experience or you've done research or you've done whatever it is to come up with a solution for your ideal customer and clients. When that customer or client or let me say potential client or customer, when they see that you have obsessed over their problem and you have found a solution that is needed for them, they will they'll be willing to pay you using your story, using your experience, using your knowledge to be able to help people and on top of that making sure that you add value because the more people can see that you've either gone through what they've gone through and you've be able to come up come up with a solution, and they wanna be able to get that solution just like you have.
If you are able to find a solution, even if you haven't gone through what your customers have gone through, but you know what they need and you're able to find that solution that they need to have in order to get the results that they desire. Give that level of value to them. Give that benefit to them. Because when people like I said, when people have seen that you have obsessed over their problem, people are gonna be people are gonna run to you to pay you. Don't focus on getting the money from customers and clients.
Focus on giving them the value. Focus on getting people's attention first. And when people have your attention, when people have paid you with their attention and they see that the the that the attention that they're giving you is valuable enough, eventually, they will pay you with their time. Eventually, they will pay you with their assets. So they can be able to pay to either work with you if you're providing a service or they can pay to buy from you either if you're providing a cert if you're providing a product.
